our purpose

My grandparents custom built their home with their own two hands in 1975. They have had almost 50 years of memories at that house, memories with their children, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren. We grew up hearing all the stories of their home building journey, how and why they built it the way they did and seeing the pride they took in their home. It is not just a house in which they live. It is their place of rest and safety, where they share tears and laughter with friends and family, and it is a place that functions well for them because they designed it with their individual needs in mind. Their home will always be remembered as a special place as I look back on my childhood and even into adulthood as we continue to spend family Christmas' there.

Not everyone is able to build their own home with their own two hands like my grandparents did. That is why it is my passion to be able to help you make your dream a reality by taking on the grunt work. Our purpose at Ahrenholtz Custom Homes is to provide quality craftsmanship with dependable service AND to build something that lasts generations. Create a home that works for you where memories are built to last.

Proverbs 24:3-4 “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

Owner

“I love what I do because I help others establish their legacy by building them a home where memories are passed down from generation to generation.”

I grew up in Northwest Illinois assisting my dad with a variety of building projects. My dad was a pastor, but also very good at working with his hands. Growing up, we built three additions onto our house and constructed his log church building from the ground up. In the summers, I would spend countless hours working with him doing home remodels, auto mechanics, welding projects, landscaping, lawn mowing, painting, plumbing, electric, etc. After high school, I stepped into full time Christian ministry as a worship leader and eventually a youth pastor at a church in Siloam Springs, AR.

My beautiful wife, Bri, and I met and married in 2007 in South Carolina. In 2008, we moved to Siloam Springs, AR to be closer to her family after our fist son was born. After our forth child was born in 2015, I started Ahrenholtz Home Improvement, LLC as a simple handyman business. The business thrived! Soon, I hired employees and was able to do larger home projects. I eventually got my remodelers license, followed by my general contractors license. I bought and flipped run-down and condemned homes, completed countless bathroom remodels, and updated many kitchens. Then, in 2020, I built my first custom home. Two years later, we decided to rebrand the company name to Ahrenholtz Custom Homes. Since then, my team and I have built custom homes, whole house remodels, two story additions, master bedroom suite additions, kitchen remodels, and many little side projects besides.

I love what I do because I help others establish their legacy by building them a home where memories are passed down from generation to generation. One cannot separate one’s memories from the place where they happened. When you construct your home, you are building your legacy. I love being a part of that journey!

In my free time, I enjoy being with my wife and children while hiking, camping, river fishing and canoeing, rock climbing, mountain biking, and spending quality time together.

PROJECT MANAGER

KOLTON SIMMONS

“Luke is someone I have always really admired and looked up to. I was thrilled when he hired me as a project manager of ACH.”

I’ve lived my whole life here in North-west Arkansas. Growing up, I enjoyed working with my dad doing HVAC work when he would take on side jobs. After high school, I worked in several of the trades including HVAC, excavating with heavy equipment, and construction while attending John Brown University for construction management. I first met Luke while attending his youth group back before he started Ahrenholtz Custom Homes. Luke is someone I have always really admired and looked up to. I was thrilled when he hired me as a project manager of ACH in 2021.

Chloe, my lovely wife, and I got married in 2021 and now are now expecting a baby boy January, 2024! In my free time, I love spending time with my wife, hanging out with the guys, watching football, golfing, fishing and hunting.
